Get In An Answer State of Mind!

You’ve got to learn how to be spiritually indifferent toward a problem and get in an answer state of mind. If you are interested in the answer, say this affirmation out loud now:

I am interested in the answer, and

I now practice spiritual indifference toward the problem.

And I accept the answer.

And that’s what you’ll have to do.

What is Spiritual Indifference?

Give up thinking about the problem, and give all your attention to the idea of the answer.

You—the conscious mind, the intellect—may not know exactly in what form that answer may come. But just entertain the idea of the answer.

The problem is like an old dog that doesn’t get attention and will go off and not return. Just like an old dog hanging around the back porch so that you’d throw him a bone occasionally. If you don’t throw old Rover a bone regularly, he’ll go somewhere else where somebody else will throw him a bone.

Are You Holding on Tight to Your Problem?

So it is your problem. And some of you, you not only throw your problems bones, but you also throw them steaks and filet mignon. You give your problem all of your attention.

And it’s no use praying and asking God to take it away because some of you still hold on tight even when you ask God!

You still have your problem, and it won’t go because you’re holding on to it.

And you see, that’s the Law of Mind. Whatever you pay attention to or are fascinated by — that’s what you get! That’s what some call the Law of Attraction!

Your prayers have to be in harmony with the Law of Mind. You see, some religious people don’t understand that, and they haven’t been taught about the Law of Mind.

Attention is Destiny

Know this, the cosmic Law of Mind cannot be changed. “As a man thinks, so is he.” If a man thinks of problems, a man is going to have problems.
